Well in the official storyline, Bison was killed by Akuma by the Shun Goku Satsu but in TLY Bison is alive and well so how could he have survive such a brutal death? lol.

This is an issue which I've addressed here before. We're still waiting to find out just how he returned from the grave (for at least the third time now) as well as how he wound up in a wheelchair.

Many, many questions that this series will need to answer over time.
