Actually I sometimes wonder if Karl Rove stepped out because Akuma took over, saying, "Okay, look, Karl, this is how ya do it."

That's the splendid handiwork of Lord Krogoth over at Deviant Art. He actually said he created that when he was BORED, LOL! I'm lucky I can draw a smiley face when I'm in that state!

Speaking of Zangief art, I'm just now doing the inking on the new Zangief versus Ryu illustration I'm doing. Naturally, it's an up-to-date look at the characters as they are today in The Later Years.

Nice art ^_^
with all this streetfighter stuff coming up again, i feel like making my own art sometime.

I was thinking in the series, it would be nice if they cameo the characters or elements from various SF game like backgrounds, posters of things in game, cameos of characters blurred in the background or loosely connected with the characters.... has that already been done?

Or the characters refer to something in these forums like...zangief and dhalsim eating a mczangeif happy meal with a toy that sagat plays with in the background....

I'd like to watch the series all over again so i can catch those tidbit... easter eggs in the videos...

I'm hoping they'll add more stuff in the upcoming series like ;balrog's comment about the paused video or the comment on how "Ryu" was pronounced. priceless.

Actually, Shen Long, your ideas are GREAT and should be considered for use in the SF:TLY TV series if that indeed comes to pass.

As far as I can tell, all or most of the in-jokes in our series reside within the scripts themselves, very many of them, unfortunately, never having made it to the screen in the final cut. The Ryu pronunciation thing was supposed to become a running gag while Sam was still the editor. Since the new season, the final two jokes that pay off that running gag were removed from the final cut for some reason. The whole "Bonus Round" running gag was hysterical but, in the end, was not included in the series.

Also, BY ALL MEANS, please feel free to submit artwork and post it here! As you know, "Zangief Versus Ryu" is just the first in a series of new Zangief pics I'll be creating for you.

Join the fun!

Erm... Charlie can't be selling foodstuffs with Guile on Central Park because he's.... well, there's a reason Guile's "shell-shocked", you know.

T. Hawk runs a New Age shop in Williamsburg that's actually a front for hallucinogenic drugs (Aren't they all?). DeeJay (who settled in Crown Heights) is his best customer.

I agree that Cammy's turning tricks. Most likely in the East End of London.

Dan is... a temp agent? What other "loser" jobs are there besides "unemployed"?

LOL!!!

Yeah, I'm sure many is the night when Guile wakes up in a cold sweat from another flashback of Nash getting blown up along with the Psycho Drive.

We think you'll enjoy finding out what Cammy and Sakura are up to now. A lot of great characters are coming back in "Street Fighter Reunion".
