I dont come here for a few weeks (please forgive me!) and when i come back i hear that Street Fighter WILL live on in what sounds to be a hilarious show!

Seriously, it sounds really cool, and im pleased that it will involve the same cast and crew at various points. Grin

So glad you feel that way, Worf, because we're going to preserve the basic feel of the TLY series as well as the plot continuity right into the new series. Although a new production company will be involved, many of the contributors to the original series will be back and even series creator Sam Reich, along with his ever-present Director of Photography, Vince Peone, will be on board, periodically, to create the magic again. Our head writer, Dan Gurewitch, will be providing some episodes here and there as well.

At the first script meetings, we've been laughing ourselves silly with all the planned hilarity that will ensue! Will M. Bison ever learn not to send the likes of Zangief and Balrog to carry out an important mission for him? Will Chun Li's romance with Ken continue without incident or will there be unexpected conflicts and challenges from someone else? What about Eliza? A serious threat lurks for Vega and is the corporate power of Capcom truly nullified by the turn of events in SF:TLY or is there more danger for Ryu and any other Street Fighter who takes back the franchise? Will Guile ever get a royalty check, fer chrissakes?

These and other questions will be answered soon.

Meanwhile, one E. Honda will have some serious explaining to do.

Lots of equally hilarious battle sequences right off the bat since now all the fighters are re-established and back on the circuit.

Ready...Fight!

With all the guilt he must be feeling, I can see Edmond diving right back into the junk food so, yeah, I think it's kinda likely. He will most definitely be looking and dressing more like his old self in the coming months.
