NBC just did a very smart thing; they've just cast actor Raw Le'Jba as a new "surprise character" named Tomahawk on the new season of "American Gladiator"! Raw, of course, was our hilariously punch-numbed Street Fighter colleague, Balrog, on SF:TLY. Now his new character will take on all comers who think they've vanquished all the competitors on NBC's hit series.

But that's not all. Raw is absolutely delighted to rejoin his fellow Street Fighters in the role of Balrog again as a regular in our new show! We're beside ourselves with joy to have him back!

Although Balrog's scenes were few and short on TLY, he stole every one of them with his point blank comic timing. He will be much more heavily employed on the new TV show and we'll see a lot of him at the gym which will be the main hub from which all the action and adventure originate.

The news just keeps getting better for us every day! Welcome back, Raw! Terrific to have you back on the team!

And now, the latest:

It has been decided that the new title of the series will be "Street Fighter Reunion".

As we move beyond "The Later Years", our intrepid Street Fighters are fully re-established and out of retirement and now face the challenges of not just brand new fights and adventures but the stumbling blocks of age that go right along with it.

More news as it happens.
