I was surprised to discover arcade Street Fighter II's music sounded quite different from the SNES version's. Although the tunes are the same, the samples are not. I prefer the SNES version. The samples are lower-quality, yet somehow more realistic and pleasing to my ears. The arcade sounds were rather harsh-sounding and more synthetic; I didn't like that.

What do the rest of you think?

Strangely, I actually prefer the Super Nintendo version. It sounds "warmer" to my ears.
