Our furry Russian World Warrior hero turns 54 today and so we are posting two of his most recently released commercials for Nokia. These spots are showing at all of Nokia's flagship stores and are shot with the amazing Phantom camera, the very same camera that we'll be using for Zangief's Flying Power Bomb assault on Chun Li in Episode 1 (both TV and web) of "Street Fighter Reunion". Zangief does a cameo in each of these two versions of a commercial for Nokia's Ovi Maps and they're directed by David Merten:

Well, it's happened to us once again. With a brand new bank account and LLC created to facilitate transfer of funds for "Street Fighter Reunion", the investors have let us down again. We've been trying to get the actors on set by this summer but the money guys seem to think we can shoot outdoor scenes under any weather conditions and at any time of year. We are still fully outfitted, developed and cast for an action packed first season. Rather than continue to wait, we are looking overseas for funding. We apologize for the latest in a parade of delays by investment firms but we promise you the series absolutely WILL BE HAPPENING! We're working on this constantly and the cast is ready to roll with us as soon as we clear all the green lights. We will, however, be shooting the "Life with Zangief" comedy shorts to kinda console you during this frustrating waiting period. We think you'll like them.
Meanwhile, I will be playing Luke Barger for the next couple of weeks for a promo (which you'll all see) for "Major Ursus" which has already picked up a home for itself on the New World TV network. Also, during this time, I'll be playing the bartender in "Escape from New Jersey", directed by Chris R. Notarile (the same director who brought me back as Zangief in "Kirby" last summer):

Keep the faith, gang! We do not intend to let you down!
