I was wondering how long it would be before THAT question came up, LOL! And, by the way, this is just the right forum for it so I'm glad you brought it up, Doc.

Here's my embarrassing confession: I have never played the game! I was already in my thirties when Street Fighter II debuted so I didn't grow up with it although I was well aware of it. It was the nineties, after all, and you couldn't get through them without being exposed to SF2. I couldn't open a comic book, turn on the TV or walk through a subway station without being confronted by the World Warriors.

My age is no excuse, of course. Our Webmaster is only three months younger than I and he played the game back then. He might even have played SF1 if I'm not mistaken (maybe he'd like to weigh in on this). I suppose I'm in good company, though; Brian Wilson never actually surfed, most of the fiercest political "hawks" on Capitol Hill never served in the military and David Carradine didn't study the martial arts for his role in "Kung Fu".

I do have martial arts skills, however, that I've been dusting off and making fully ready to deploy in this series when necessary.

Any of my fellow Street Fighters want to add to this? Should be interesting.
